What Is GetFit?

The GetFit workout in Barcelona is oriented around muscle growth and development. The active workout takes 50 minutes and there is 5 minutes warming up can cooling down. The difference between GetFit and other workouts is the element of challenges and quizzes. This makes a hard workout fun.

We often think of Arnold when we hear building muscle, but we often forget that he is not the only one who builds muscle. Kylie Jenner and Ryan Gosling build muscle as well, but in a different way. The aim of GetFit is to form your body to the shape you want it to. Like a gym workout.

1. Quizzes, Challenges and Fun

Fun is the key to stay consistent, that is the reason why we have quizzes and challenges incorporated in the workouts. Have you ever played Tik Tak Fast? This is a challenge where you have to put X’s and O’s in a field. But the catch is that you have to run 10 meters first to do so. The fastest one wins. 

Challenges like these are great, because you focus on agility, explosive strength and cardio without even realizing that you are doing that. Once you are put in a situation where you have to act and think fast, you start to burn lots of calories.

The quizzes are a fun way to test your global knowledge and to workout at the same time. In one workout you will have 10 questions. These can be from “Who has the most followers on TikTok?” to “What is bigger, the sun or the moon?”. If you get it right you can relax or do the half or the exercises the other have to do. 

The GetFit workouts are filled with challenges like these, to keep it fun, but effective.

2. Improve your physical strength and develop muscle.

The high-intensity, multi-joint movements in GetFit help you gain muscle strength and stamina. Adding additional weight to your workouts can further increase muscle gain by adding stress to your muscles.

Every day is different and we will target different muscles of the body. This is to ensure a well balanced body structure. Because of the high rep count you will not only burns fat, but also you will reach a state of hypertrophy. This is the ideal state of where muscles grow.

Having developed muscles is not only very aesthetic, but also healthy. The more muscle you develop in your younger years, the more comfortable your life will become in your older years. Not to forget all the other health benefits you get, like increased energy, more motivated, feeling more relaxed, endorphins (“The happy hormone”) and much more.

3. Burn fat and manage weight.

GetFit workouts help you burn more calories than other workouts. On average, a 88 kg male or 74 kg female will burn 15 to 18 calories per minute and 13 to 15 calories per minute, respectively, during a GetFit circuit. You also continue to burn calories during the recovery period.

That’s compared to 11 calories per minute and 9 calories per minute during traditional weightlifting using machines.
